6 Months To Go!

If a year is 365 days then I'll be danged if I got any more than a half year until I commission.

I'm going to school this summer term and it's pretty fun not having any ROTC things to worry about or having to go back and forth between BYU and UVSC. I have some real easy classes and I'll probably get A's in all of them.

I'm more excited than anything to get commissioned and get a job. I hate not having much of an income and I'm getting pretty, correction: very bored with school.

If everything goes as planned I'll have 1 sociology class in the fall along with my normal ROTC classes. And if everything goes way better than planned I'll get graduated early and commissioned sometime in October. There's little chance of that happening, but if I can make it happen, I will.

Logistics!

So, I got my AFSC - Logistics readiness. It was my 3rd choice and I'm pretty happy that I got it. It can cover many different things and can take a person almost anywhere.

This week I also put in my location preferences. I wont know for a few months where it is that I'll go, but chances are I'll first go to Mississippi to Keesler AFB for some schooling then I'll go to one of the choices I picked. For my six choices I put 1. RAF Lakenheath, Brandon, Suffolk, England, United Kingdom 2. RAF Mildenhall, Mildenhall, England, United Kingdom, 3. Ramstein Air Base, Germany, 4. Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany, 5. Yokota Air Base, Tokyo, Japan, 6. Misawa Air Base, Misawa, Aomori, Japan. I'm not sure I put them all in the correct order, but I do know that the countries are in the right order. Now I can't wait to see where I'll go.
